TalkingChina Unveiled at 2026 China Enterprise Intellectual Property Global Expansion Forum

Recently, the 2026 China Enterprise Intellectual Property Global Expansion Forum, co-hosted by ZHIWEN Consulting and IP Gathering, was successfully concluded in Shanghai. With the theme “Breaking Borders, IP as the Navigator,” the forum focused on core issues in Chinese enterprises’ globalization process, including IP risk prevention and control, cross-border litigation response, and patent portfolio strategies. The event brought together IP heads and industry experts from leading companies. Su Yang, General Manager of TalkingChina, was invited to attend and engaged in in-depth discussions with peers.

The first day’s agenda centered on “Overall IP Risks and Cross-Border Litigation Response.” Speakers provided deep insights into new rules and judicial trends of the Unified Patent Court (UPC) in the EU, FTO searches for new energy battery materials, and practical strategies for trade secret protection. The June 5 agenda focused on “Global Strategies for Trademarks, Copyrights, and Content” as well as hot topics such as biopharmaceutical global expansion. Multiple roundtable dialogues offered cross-industry insights for participating companies.

During the forum discussions, attendees generally agreed that overseas IP deployment is far from a purely legal issue—cross-language conversion of patent documents, compliance materials, and technical documentation is equally critical to defining the scope of rights and determining success or failure in litigation disputes. Even a single terminology error can result in narrowed protection.

At the forum, Ms. Su held in-depth conversations with many corporate IP heads on specific scenarios such as terminology management for patent translation, language evidence support in overseas litigation, and localization of technical documentation in the biopharmaceutical field. These exchanges helped TalkingChina more accurately understand and grasp the language service needs of enterprises going global on cutting-edge IP issues, accumulating valuable industry insights to further refine service solutions and enhance customer value.

By participating in this forum, TalkingChina deepened its understanding of pain points in the IP global expansion industry. In this strategic domain, TalkingChina serves not only as a language service provider but also as “a bridge between rule systems”—helping Chinese enterprises’ intellectual property be accurately understood, effectively protected, and compliantly operated across different legal systems, business cultures, and language environments worldwide.
