TalkingChina at ATC 2026: Bridging the Global Automotive Chain with Language Power

The 2026 ATC Shanghai International Automotive Technology and Parts Exhibition recently concluded successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Covering nearly 60,000 square meters, the event brought together 826 exhibitors and attracted 53,762 industry visitors. As a professional language service provider with deep expertise in the automotive sector, TalkingChina was invited to participate, engaging with peers across the global automotive value chain to exchange insights on cutting-edge trends.

During the exhibition, four themed zones—Automotive Chassis, Powertrain, Thermal Management, and Testing—were presented side by side, covering both conventional fuel and new energy technology routes. Seven parallel forums featured prominent speakers: robotics sessions focused on embodied intelligence in production lines, AI foundation models empowering robotics, and overseas expansion opportunities for Chinese-made robots. Leading OEMs including Geely, NIO, GAC, Great Wall, Changan, and Dongfeng shared forward-looking perspectives on hybrid powertrains, while suppliers such as Mahle, Yinlun, and Fawer discussed thermal management solutions, new refrigerants, and integrated heat pump mass-production plans. Industry giants from the entire chain engaged in deep dialogue on commercializing various technology paths.

TalkingChina immersed itself fully in the show—attending keynote speeches, visiting booths, and exchanging views with exhibitors to better understand industry pain points. The team strongly felt that, driven by the “New Four Modernizations” (electrification, intelligence, connectivity, and sharing) and the accelerating global expansion of Chinese automotive brands, language services have become an indispensable link in the globalization of the industrial chain. From precise translation of technical documentation to effective cross-cultural market communication, the “last mile” of language directly impacts the speed and quality of “Intelligent Manufacturing in China” reaching the world stage.
